In this posting, I want to write about the work of Indonesian as they turn out to be famous public figure in Japan. I bet there’re lots holding “successful tag” with them in Japan, but now I’m going to write about these 2 persons as following :


1) Batara Eto who succeeded developing social networking site, like friendster under the open source LAMP stack, Perl, MySQL and the Apache Webserver. Everybody know about MIXI as it’s so popular, but still many people don’t know that the one who develop the system is not Japanese, but Indonesian. :)

Yep, Batara Eto was born 1979 in Medan, still so young and now become billionaire, isn’t that an achievement? Two thumbs up for him.
He graduated from the Engineering division of Takushoku University. He’s married to Japanese and also changed his citizenship to Japanese.

2) Lisa Halim(リサはリム）
She’s a Japanese singer and songwriter. Born to Indonesian father and Japanese mother. Satoshi Tamakawa Academy HS graduates of the 2002 fiscal year and the 2007 Academy Festival in the opening event to make a cameo.

Really proud of them, they’re inspirational figures for me..
There’re many ways to be a better person, as for me, having a fan or model that you appreciate/admire can be one of the motivation in daily life.
