The submission of dormitory had begun in January, some even in December.
I did apply to 5 dormitories. Yeah, correct! 5 dorms! he he..
And last Wednesday, I got the result that I’m accepted in one of the dorm : the very well equipped facilities, prestigious cozy environment but far away from campus.
Moving to this dorm will cost quite amount of money in the first month, as I have to pay the *deposit money as much as 1 month monthly fee( in other words, total 2xmonthly fee for the first month).
In addition, the commuting fee costs higher significantly. @#$!@
That’s why I couldn’t tell how I felt – neither happy nor sad, as I still put hope on my current dorm or even the one that is closed to the campus. But, the matter is that : it has a 0,0000XX% possibility to be accepted in the dormitory that I wish to enter.
I’ve been reminded by the officer so many times, but we never know if we don’t try, rite? That’s why I kept submitting the document.
But when we shared stories among the ryuugakusei(foreigner students). My Taiwan friends kept telling that I’m lucky. Why? Because it’s uncommon to be accepted in the dormitories again for the next period if you do have experience living in the dorm before.
Some of them did apply for the dorm, but rejected bcoz they have the experience living in dorm like me. That’s why they envy me.. Ermm, I should count this as bless too..
Ehhm.. regarding to the moving, let’s play on the strategy plan again.
Let say that I won’t be accepted in my top listed dorm.
I am allowed to move to the new dorm starting April,6. And I HAVE TO LEAVE the current dorm March,25. Will I be homeless? he he..
Then the plan goes like this :
Plan A) I will rent the weekly mansion until April,6. But how about my stuffs?
Should I use twice moving services? hu hu..
Plan B) I will stay in one of my friend’s room in the current dorm, and distribute my stuffs to several rooms to friend A’s room, B’s room, etc.. And by April,6, I can ask the moving car services to move all the stuffs directly to the new dorm.
But, if some of you do know me well, basically I’m reluctant in asking assistance unless I really really have no choice, simply because I don’t want to cause trouble to others.
So I likely will execute plan A, but will change if the transportation services cost much.. taihen da ne..
So, what I can do now is do the best I can, and I’m strongly believe that He will lead me the right way at the right moment!
*In Japan, if you wish to move, you should know the concequence of having enough money for its rental system as you need to pay ranging 3-5x monthly fee for the first months as followings :
– Yachin(monthly fee) itself
– Reikin(key/service money ) 1-2x monthly fee
– Shikikin(Deposit money) 1-2x monthly fee
Reikin will not be refunded and if you use the agent service, it may cost 0.5-1x monthly fee as well. hehe..
So, are you ready to stay in Japan?
Wondering if such system applies in Indonesia, it’s such a relief for the owner.
The apt we stayed in Indonesia is furnished one and used to be rented to the Korean. They got good price, the replacement for broken household, but they didn’t take care of the furniture and the apt room well. They scratched the wall, broke the household.. hu hu..
